Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is seeking a talented and creative visionary to join our Marketing team as a Graphic Designer. Cooper’s Hawk is a trailblazing combination of restaurant, winery, Napa-style tasting room, and specialty retail market. Additionally, Cooper’s Hawk is home to the country’s largest Wine Club, a lifestyle-driven monthly affiliation offering exclusive wines, unforgettable events, and a host of privileges. In addition to nearly 60 restaurant locations, Cooper’s Hawk has recently introduced Piccolo Buco, a contemporary Neapolitan pizza concept, nestled under the “by Cooper’s Hawk” Brand umbrella.

As the Graphic Designer, you’ll play a key role in crafting engaging digital and print creative solutions that bring these moments to life, helping to shape our visual storytelling and enhance brand experiences.

This hybrid role includes three onsite days per week at the Restaurant Support Center in Downers Grove, IL, with remote flexibility, reporting directly to the Creative Director.
What You’ll Do:
- Design digital and print creative assets for various brand touchpoints, including Wine Club marketing materials, in-restaurant collateral, brand assets, campaign lockups, packaging and more.
- Create production-ready files, making sure all assets are print-ready with a focus on meticulous detail and accuracy.
- Design marketing emails using an existing Figma-based design system, ensuring brand consistency and best practices. Requires Figma expertise to build layouts, collaborate, and support future updates to the design system.
- Create mood boards for photoshoots, providing visual direction for product and lifestyle photography. Be comfortable on set, collaborating with photographers and the team to ensure creative concepts are executed effectively.
- Create and enhance PowerPoint presentation decks to support the marketing department, transforming complex information into visually compelling and on-brand presentations.
- Apply a working knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory and layout to create engaging & visually compelling assets that align with our brand standards.
- Work within digital project management workflows, adhering to project details and timelines, collaborating with team members, and uploading creative assets for proofing and feedback.
What You’ll Need:
- Must represent Cooper’s Hawk values
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant field
- Impressive portfolio that showcases digital and print work across marketing platforms
- 5+ years as a Graphic Designer, working on design teams in a fast-paced and innovative environment in either an agency or corporate setting
- Ability to take initiative and work independently, while also being a collaborative team player
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders
- Ability to adapt and pivot with evolving brand strategies
- Incredible attention to detail
- Outstanding organizational skills and adept to managing multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high quality work on tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Must represent Cooper’s Hawk values
- Strongly Preferred:
- Retail, restaurant, food or beverage experience
- Highly creative ad agency background
Compensation Range: $63,000-$70,000. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity.
