About The Role

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and brand-driven Graphic Designer to join the Marketing Department.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role focuses on package design, product deco, branding, and visual storytelling that elevate the customer experience and align with our educational and robotics mission.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can translate brand identity into powerful visuals, manage high-volume design workloads, and collaborate seamlessly with engineers, procurement, customer support, and marketing teams. A passion for design systems, user-centric branding, and production-ready assets is essential.

The ideal candidate will also contribute to product photography and image editing, supporting our growing need for high-quality visual content across platforms.

Compensation: $25-$29 per hour, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do

Brand & Identity Design

  • Develop cohesive branding elements including logos, typography, and color palettes
  • Maintain brand consistency through internal and external style guides
  • Support brand expansion with sub-branding and product family visual systems

Packaging & Product Design

  • Design innovative packaging solutions that enhance brand recognition and customer engagement
  • Create visually innovative product deco, markings, and labeling that enhance user experience
  • Build dielines and work directly with manufacturing and print vendors for quality assurance

Digital & Print Marketing

  • Produce catalogs, brochures, flyers, postcards, and website graphics
  • Create social media assets, video overlays, and email campaign visuals
  • Develop seasonal creative collateral for product launches and events
  • Support product photography efforts by taking, editing, retouching photos for use in marketing collateral

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategy

  • Work with engineering to align visuals with product function and user guidance
  • Partner with customer support to create educational and technical assets
  • Lead visual strategy audits of competitors and contribute to marketing campaign planning

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Expertise in Package Design, Die Line Creation, and Prepress Preparation
  • Proficiency in Product Labeling, Product Markings, & Regulatory Compliance Graphics
  • Experience in Logo Design with knowledge of Typography, Layout Design, and Color Theory
  • Experience in basic product photography and photo editing/retouching
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional design experience, preferably with a focus on packaging/product graphics
