Summary

Chapman Tripp is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading large law firms. We work with clients on matters that are helping to define New Zealand's future, and as part of our team, you'll be in the middle of the action.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer with approximately 3+ years of experience, ideally in a corporate or professional services environment, to collaborate with the national Clients & Markets team and wider firm to deliver high-quality, compelling design work.

The Role Will Include

  • Designing engaging visual assets for digital and print from initial concept to final output
  • Ensuring brand consistency and adherence to guidelines while creating designs that elevate our brand and visual identity
  • Internal photography and liaising and briefing external photographers where required
  • Maintaining image, design and template libraries
  • Effective management of multiple projects and priorities

You Will Bring

  • 3+ years design experience, ideally with relevant tertiary qualification
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft packages
  • Knowledge/experience of motion graphics/video editing software (AfterEffects, Animate, Premier Pro) advantageous
  • Excellent design skills, including understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • An understanding of social media marketing and platform-specific content creation
  • Ability to work with a range of internal clients, delivering work that meets objectives while adhering to brand styles and standards
