Her Power Project is dedicated to eliminating period poverty in North Carolina by providing access to menstrual products, education, and support. Through advocacy, community collaboration, and partnerships, we aim to ensure that menstruation is never a barrier to health, education, or equality.

Role Description

This is a volunteer role for a Grant Writer with Her Power Project. The Grant Writer will be responsible for grant administration, proposal writing, prospect research, and grant writing. The role also involves assisting with fundraising activities. This is a hybrid role located in Apex, NC, with some work from home acceptable.

Qualifications

• Experience in Grant Administration and Grant Writing
• Strong skills in Proposal Writing and Prospect Research
• Ability to assist with Fundraising activities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
