Summary

Job Description Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking applicants interested in joining the Wentworth community as a Graduate Assistant, Student Engagement - with one (1) current opening. The position will expose a graduate student in Student Affairs (or related field) to a multifaceted office that handles a variety of campus activities/events, student organization advising, and leadership education. The graduate assistant (GA) will gain experience in program development, event planning, leadership education, club advising, assessment, and additional areas of interest. Projects will be tailored to meet student interest and office needs during Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semester(s). Projects may include: * Planning & executing leadership events for students * Planning, executing and assessing campus-wide programs * Assisting in the advisement of one or more student groups, including the Student Organization Council and Wentworth Events Board * Planning and executing programming centered on the graduate student experience * Serving on an institute-wide committee * Participating in some daytime, evening, and weekend programming * Supporting student organization development * Other duties to allow the pursuit of professional interests and development Schedule/Hours per week: * 15 hours per week, as needed, with practicum or assistantship requirements for the graduate program * Some nights and weekends are required * Flexible schedule Compensation: * Compensation is $16,000 for the school year Position Dates: Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 Semesters * Fall Start: August 18, 2025 (approx.) * Fall End: December 12, 2025 * Spring Start: January 5, 2026 * Spring End: End of April with potential for re-hire Inclusive Excellence at Wentworth: Wentworth Institute of Technology is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all University programs and activities.
