ActewAGL Finance has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with a passion to learn to be our next
Graduate Accountant. You will play a key role in assisting the team with the completion of financial accounting, project administration, project closure and other duties, including aspects of the CIP management and project reporting obligations as required. This opportunity will enable you to learn on the job and develop a strong knowledge in the practical application of accounting concepts in a large commercial organisation.

About Your New Role
- Assist with completion of month end accounting closing procedures.
- Assist with project closures including project capitalisations, cost adjustments, stakeholder support and regular consultation with project and program managers in reviewing project closure reports.
- Enter project budgets in Oracle for approved projects
- Monitor and track Capital in Progress (project) balances in consultation with the appropriate stakeholders

About You
- You have tertiary qualifications in accounting or a related discipline and a desire to work towards CA/CPA membership is required.
- You have understanding of accounting concepts obtained through tertiary studies.
- You have strong excel skills with a proven ability to interpret financial and non-financial statistical information.
