Google Cloud Architect
Location : Remote
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
* Develop and execute multi-cloud strategies, integrating GCP with other cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
* Implement and champion Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles for improved system availability, performance, and monitoring.
* Oversee cloud operations, focusing on automation, monitoring, incident management, and cost optimization across platforms.
* Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption, developing automated provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or Cloud Deployment Manager.
* Establish and enforce robust cloud governance frameworks covering security best practices, compliance requirements, cost controls, and resource tagging across all cloud environments.
* Architect and potentially implement solutions for unified multi-cloud management and visibility, leveraging single control plane technologies where applicable (e.g., Anthos).
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of cloud-native and hybrid applications.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The Salary for this position will be 119,000 to 150,000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
