Mid-Level Golang Developer Job Description We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated mid-level Developer to join our Engineering team. You will be responsible for system design and architecture, developing high-quality functions with attention to detail, and making customer experiences seamless and smooth. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership and vision in design, implementation, testing, and rolling out existing and new services in a multi-region configuration. Responsibilities * Design and develop REST and gRPC application program interfaces (API) and Webservices. * Create reusable frameworks and components to meet the needs of global delivery. * Maintain REST API documentation using Swagger and design documentation. * Maintain Proto files for gRPC services. * Document work and engage in quality testing and validation for changes or improved features before releasing to customers. * Troubleshoot issues and debug applications on the AWS cloud platform. * Review and improve existing codebases and peer-review code changes. * Ensure the API layer aspects for security, monitoring, analytics, and throttling. * Collaborate with leads and team members to meet all project deliverables and milestone dates. * Communicate effectively with team members and suppliers. Essential Skills * 5-6 years of experience in gRPC/gRPC API Development and Rest APIs. * 1-2 years of experience with AWS. * Minimum 3-4 years of experience with Golang. * Good problem-solving and analytical skills with knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis. * Proficient in clean architecture, API design, debugging, profiling, and performance optimization. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree required. * Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), DevOps, cloud engineering, architecture, and software as a service. * Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology. * Prior experience in automotive multimedia systems is a plus. * Experience in implementing and validating platform technical specifications is preferred. Work Environment This position offers a hybrid work model, with 3 days a week in the office and the possibility to work remotely. The initial contract is for 6 months with potential extensions. The interview process consists of two rounds conducted via MS Teams: the first round covers fundamental GoLang and coding, and the second round focuses on behavioral aspects.
