Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Go-to-Market Program Manager. Bidirectional Energy is seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Manager to oversee and coordinate key projects and initiatives to deploy residential bidirectional vehicle-to-grid (V2G) electric vehicle (EV) chargers. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring successful project delivery, fostering stakeholder communication, and driving operational efficiency.
In this role, the individual will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure the success of product launches, and managing timelines and deliverables for corresponding grant projects. They will analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to drive product strategy and positioning. Additionally, the Go-to-market Program Manager will track performance metrics, report on program success, and continuously optimize strategies to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate multiple residential V2G projects deploying hundreds of bidirectional EV chargers and rebates from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards to support the development and deployment of bidirectional charging products
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation to track and report on project metrics and performance.
- Serve as the project representative in meetings with government program administrators
- Coordinate V2G deployments with customers and ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Lead customer engagement activities and support customers from point of sale through installation and onboarding of Bidirectional Energy Services. Take point on addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support.
- Proactively identify and address potential customer challenges in programmatic fashion, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for existing and future customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support and product development, to resolve customer issues and enhance product offerings.
- Assist with community engagement and outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in program or project management with proficiency in managing timelines and deliverables
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes
- Experience with performance metrics tracking and reporting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with EV charging infrastructure, utility industry, or distributed energy resources (DER) is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer success, account management, or a related role.
- Familiarity with work management tools and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
