3. Job Purpose

The Solution Design Consultant at CEVA will be working with CEVA Globally in supporting business growth by creating Techno-commercial solutions that can be offered to our customers (new or existing) to support their businesses. This involves understanding RFQs, analyzing customer data, designing optimal warehouse processes, and assessing automation potential to deliver innovative, competitive and robust solutions.

4. Key Accountabilities

Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:

1 Develop expertise and local know how regarding countries specific knowledge

2 Associate will work with Business Development and Operations resources of respective country in designing effective customer solutions to win new business

3 Define and document optimal processes and, whenever possible, propose innovations and automation.

4 Analyse RFQ data and comprehend customer requirements.

5 Evaluate solution costs and establish pricing.

6 Provide support for renewals, including auditing existing solutions and proposing process re-engineering

7 Collaborate with subject matter experts in the sector, innovation, and automation to define best-in-class concepts.

8 Manage stakeholders across regions and functions to ensure alignment.

9 Support in the development of new tools, support innovations to be used across entire CEVA Global network.

5. Key Working Relationships

The most significant and most common working relationships relating to the role. Detail the nature of the relationship and the frequency of the interaction:

INTERNAL

Solution Design – Align with the respective country SD team to ensure best solution.

Business Development – Strategic partner in the RFQ process, managing relationship with customer.

Operation leadership & BPE – To evaluate and approve business opportunities.

Implementation team (ZDS) – To evaluate project timeline and cost.

Human resources – To assess labour availability and cost.

Procurement – To determine equipment costs and delivery leadtime

Finance – To evaluate business case.

IT & WMS super users – To evaluate IT solution.

GHO Subject matter experts – To leverage sectors best practices, identify potential automation opportunities and get their approval.

EXTERNAL

Potential / Existing Customers – To understand needs and sell the solutions.

Graduate or Postgraduate in any stream

Master’s degree in industrial engineering/ Analytics/ AI

Experience

3-10 years

Experience in Supply Chain consulting and Complex Logistics Transformation Projects

Specialist Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding and experience of the theory and practice of Warehousing, SCM, transportation management.
• Strong project management and analytical skills.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Technical skills needed (depends on the account scope, likely project nature, etc.)
• Detail oriented
• Hands on with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
• Keen to learn new Tools
• Customer management
• Polyvalent Solution Design Expert with experience in warehousing cost modelling, solution implementation & logistics operations
• Strong sector knowledge required in one of CEVA’s vertical (Automotive, Consumer & Retail, Industrial…)
• Demonstrate experience in Warehouse Automation
• Project Manager Expert: ability to engage and federate multiple stakeholders around the same objective.
• Background in Data Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, statistics, product development would be advantageous.
