We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Global Procurement Senior Manager. Reporting to the Global Head of Cost Efficiency, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Finance - Procurement and its’ growth.


Key responsibilities:

Global Procurement Category Lead for/ Establish global category strategy ownership for

1) IT Services

2) Property and FM services

3) Professional Services ( Consulting, HR , Marketing)


  • Provide detailed analysis of spend and contractual footprint within Vistra
  • Build a comprehensive short and medium term procurement plan
  • Work with the Legal team to ensure adherence to regulatory and key contract requirements


Drive cost efficiency and generate sustainable pipeline of cost optimization work streams


  • Responsible for managing the tendering and negotiation process for all major and complex projects and contracts
  • Identify cost savings and productivity initiatives
  • Implement outsourcing plans


Partner with the

1) IT Function

2) Regional Leadership Teams

3) Functional Leadership Teams to develop joined procurement strategies that aligned with key business needs.


  • Implement adequate processes to drive compliance and systems to provide monthly financial reporting


Key requirements:

Attributes & Skills

  • Self-Starter with critical thinking abilities, comfortable to challenge the status quo and to propose continuous improvements
  • Solid negotiation skills
  • Knowledge in contractual law
  • Effective communicator, to be able to elevate and communicate the Procurement strategy stakeholders at all levels within Vistra
  • Strong financial data analytics in order to generate financial reports
  • IT savvy, able to generate macro, BI, SAP reports
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English


Relevant experience

Minimum 12-15 years of experience in Procurement within a Global environment


Education/Professional Qualifications

Bachelor and/or Master degrees
