Brief description

Barilla Group wants to recruit a Global Mobility Program Manager within the Group HR Total Rewards & Organization Unit, based in Amsterdam. The objective is to further improve the efficiency and effectiveness of this area in order to better face/support the international growth. You will report to the VP Total Rewards & Organization and will be working closely with the Compensation & Benefits Director.

As the Global Mobility Program Manager, you will manage the international relocation process for the Barilla employees, provide guidance on the development, implementation and management of global mobility policies (secondment, local to local, localization ).

Key Accountabilities

  • Contribute in the design of Global Mobility policies and process proposing improvements/updates in line with the evolution of market trends, the relative legislations and in accordance to the business needs.
  • Execute feasibility analysis and cost projection in collaboration with the relevant HR BPs, payroll, immigration consultants, fiscal consultants and the other functions involved.
  • Prepare remuneration packages (allowances, tax equalization, employee’s gross to net, company cost projection, etc) and individual assignment agreement of Barilla’s expatriates, in line with International Assignment Corporate policy, local legislation, labor laws and practices in collaboration with the relevant HR BPs and fiscal consultants.
  • Provide training to HR community and support to HR BPs in employee’s offer presentation explaining the technical element and aspects related to the international assignment process.
  • Coordinate all the fiscal, immigration, operational and administrative requirements and procedures to enable effective international transfer process, through contact with employees and all the relevant functions/providers involved.
  • Liaising with key supplier for the delivery services such as; visa/immigration and work permit, taxation, relocation and household goods moving.
  • Work in collaboration with BH BPs, Payroll, Group Tax, Group Legal and other competent functions involved.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Master's Degree and a proven specific experience of 7+ years in this area acquired in global/international companies.
  • Domain expertise in international assignment cost estimates, social security and expatriate taxation.
  • Integrity, ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
  • Excellent ability to manage complexity, work under pressure in a deadline driven environment while maintaining high quality output/results with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to succeed in a diverse team environment with effective Communication skills (Written & Verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem solving, organization skills, customer dedication.
  • Fluent in English (other languages appreciated).
  • Excellent skills are required in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and SAP.
  • European Work Permit

Important Information

  • The expected starting date is May 2025.
  • The role is based in our office in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We offer hybrid work model as a mix of working remotely and from the office.
  • Available to make business trips abroad.
