About This Role

As a Global Manager within our Growth & Expansion team, you will lead the implementation and oversight of third-party logistics (3PL) carrier network. Reporting to our Senior Manager, Logistics Growth & Expansion, this role involves managing complex projects from initiation to delivery, working closely with senior stakeholders, and ensuring seamless integration with our existing operations. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our logistics network and driving operational efficiency.

These Are Some Key Ingredients To The Role

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of 3PL carrier implementation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and seamless execution.
• Define a global strategy for our 3PLs in close collaboration with Product and Tech along with local markets and build business cases to drive adequate investments
• Develop and manage project timelines for implementation and scale up of new 3PLs and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, and technology, to gather requirements, define project scopes, and develop detailed project plans.
• Oversee the rollout of new technology capabilities, ensuring operational teams and key partners are fully prepared and aligned on implementation strategies.
• Partner with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives, to set clear expectations, manage risks, and ensure timely decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, escalating issues as necessary and developing contingency plans.
• Oversee the running and operational performance of 3PL carriers in relevant market, coach and build capabilities in the local teams to effectively manage the network performance.
• Provide clear, consistent, and concise communication to senior executives and stakeholders, keeping them informed and aligned on progress, risks, and goals.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including project plans, risk assessments and best practise documentation for managing 3PLs and drive network performance
• Become an expert in our logistics models, and utilise logistics knowledge to inform project decisions and optimize implementation strategies.
  
  

What will you bring to the table?

• 5-7 years of Project/Program/Portfolio or Delivery Management experience with a focus on technology projects within logistics, supply chain, or other heavily operational industries.
• Experience leading large cross-functional projects involving senior stakeholders.
• A proactive, results-oriented and independent approach to translate strategic plans into tangible project outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience in the end-to-end implementation of third-party logistics carriers or similar complex logistics solutions.
• A background in strategic planning, including the development of roadmaps for significant operational transformation initiatives.
• Experience operating within a tech-based, global company, adept at collaborating with stakeholders across multiple time zones and navigating local requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to structure complex issues related to technology implementation in operational settings.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships and effectively conveying information to all levels, including senior executives.
• A solid understanding of logistics operations and third-party logistics (3PL) management principles.
