Insight Global is seeking a Global Head of Engineering to lead its UK and US engineering functions, reporting directly to the COO. The role involves devising and maintaining an organizational structure, ensuring good working practices, and providing strong management and leadership to the engineering team. Responsibilities include monitoring performance, setting development goals, managing quality within the team, understanding regulatory and QMS requirements, and contributing to the QMS working group. The candidate will liaise with the Sales Team and COO to introduce standard costing of key engineering activities and work with the CTO on significant projects. Additionally, the role involves managing and scheduling projects, developing performance metrics, leading recruitment efforts, and providing technical leadership in the design function. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in engineering management, strong leadership skills, and excellent technical knowledge related to human anatomy, biomedical engineering, and additive manufacturing.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Engineering Degree (Bio-medical specialization preferred)

• At least 5 years’ experience leading a team of engineers in a commercial environment

• Sector specific knowledge of the Orthopaedic market (preferably in or alongside the design of patient-specific surgical devices)

Compensation:

$85,000 to $95,000 per year annual salary.
