About the job:

As our new Global Finance Transformation Manager, you will play a key role in leading strategic finance and operational transformation projects within the Gas Control Equipment (GCE) division. Reporting directly to the Global CFO of GCE, you will be responsible for managing integration activities, supporting M&A initiatives, and driving process standardization across global finance teams. You will work cross-functionally and act as a change agent to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business goals.

Main responsibilities:

  • Serve as project and program manager for finance transformation initiatives across GEQ
  • Drive post-acquisition integration activities, including Opening Balance Sheet work
  • Support M&A due diligence and onboarding of acquired businesses
  • Manage cross-functional projects such as ERP implementation, risk management, and process improvement
  • Lead the standardization of chart of accounts and finance processes
  • Prepare and present data analyses using Excel and PowerPoint to support leadership decisions
  • Ensure effective change management and stakeholder communication
  • Utilize the ESAB Business System (EBX) to structure and monitor key projects

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in finance, including controller, accounting, or transformation roles
  • Strong accounting and financial analysis background
  • Experience in project management and finance process transformation
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; knowledge of M3 and SAP is a plus
  • Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage
  • Detail-oriented, hands-on, and action-driven personality
  • Excellent prioritization and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (up to once per quarter)
