Job Title: Global Events Lead

Location: Barcelona, Spain. Hybrid

Job Description

The Events Lead is a pivotal role for Galderma commercial operations, that is aimed to make sure a clear company strategy is in place for all key external conferences, as well as that this strategy is executed and that our customers journey during the conferences that Galderma has chosen to participate is best-in-class.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Global Process Owner for HCP facing events end-to-end engagement process
• Continuously screen external events within therapeutic domains of therapeutic dermatology, injectable aesthetics and dermatological skincare for relevance for Galderma strategy;
• Have clear criteria of events profiling, qualification and selection and make sure best events are part of Galderma customers engagement strategy;
• Ensure clear strategy is in place for every event that Galderma has chosen to participate, coordinate development of such strategy with franchise heads to ensure brand/franchise priorities are respected, arbitrate prioritization when/where necessary;
• Ensure that such strategy is being effectively executed by joining forces with Events Team and other internal stakeholders to deliver distinguished Galderma presence and best-in-class attendees experience;
• Coordinate internally and where/when necessary externally various events related activities;
• Handle event related internal communication and change management activities;
• Ensure alignment and project management for events related matters;
• Act as a PMO and drive change management activities for Global Commercial Operations and Digital team on key strategic projects

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience of 5+ years in major events management on the side of client or agency in FMCG, CPG, Consumer Health or Pharma (Depp strategy understanding is a MUST)
• Professional qualification in project management, change management and/or events management
• Proven track record of managing and strengthening client relationships.

• Advanced education (e.g., Bachelor's degree in, Marketing, Public relations or a related field) is often preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Extensive cross-functional experience required, confidence to work effectively across a global matrix enterprise and influence with authority
• Strong team player
• Fluency in English is a must, fluency in other major European languages is a plus
