Overview We are seeking a talented and motivated GIS Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Web GIS application development and a passion for leveraging geographic information systems to solve complex problems. As a GIS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Web GIS applications that enhance our data analysis capabilities and support decision-making processes. Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance ESRI ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online based applications and custom extensions for spatial data editing of linear and point features. Convert existing ArcGIS Extensions based tools into ArcGIS Pro based applications which can work in ArcGIS Online environment. Implement custom tools, scripts, and workflows in ArcGIS Pro to optimize GIS data editing, analysis, and visualization. Maintain and improve existing GIS systems to ensure reliability and performance. Manage, process, and analyze spatial data from diverse sources. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of GIS datasets, including performing data conversions, quality assurance, and updates. Optimize spatial databases and file geodatabases for performance and usability. Develop integration solutions for GIS systems with enterprise platforms or third-party tools. Automate repetitive GIS workflows using Python (ArcPy), Arcade, ModelBuilder, or similar tools. Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, workflows, and user guides. Generate reports and dashboards using GIS data to support decision-making processes. Provide technical support and knowledge transition to team members and end users as needed. Skills Minimum of 4 years of experience in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online based GIS web applications design and development. Demonstrated proficiency with ESRI product suite, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise (Server, Portal, SDE DataStore), ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, and ArcMap. Demonstrated experience working with geospatial data types in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle/Oracle Spatial, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases. Hands-on development experience with Python, ArcPy, Arcade, and Model Builder to create/extend editing tools in ArcGIS Pro. Experience with MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and/or other geospatial databases. Experience with ArcGIS Online capabilities and GIS application development. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in GIS. Familiarity with application lifecycle management (ALM) tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub. Experience with version control and release management practices. Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
