UES is looking for an experienced, Geotechnical Lab Technician to assist with testing and sample tracking of materials used in exciting projects around the Fort Worth area. As a Geotechnical Lab Technician, you will provide a vital step in the overall building process, ensuring materials used during construction meet all necessary quality benchmarks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Moisture content tests Atterberg tests Unconfined tests Minus 200 tests pH tests Swell tests Hand penetrometer Soil identification and classification PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a valid ACI Laboratory I Testing Technion certification is preferred Possession of any TxDOT SB102, SB103, SD201 certifications for soils is a plus UES is the #1 fastest-growing AEC firm on The Zweig Group’s Hot Firm list in 2021, 2022 & 2023.
