With operations expanding across India, we are now hiring General Manager/Sr. Manager - Sales Training & Development to fuel our next phase of growth.


About the job

As the Head of Sales Training & Development at Ambak, you will lead to building a future-ready workforce. This role is responsible for designing, executing, and continuously evolving strategic L&D initiatives that drive sales performance, productivity, and partner readiness across all levels—sales, operations, and leadership. This role is also end-to-end responsible for content and digitization of the training journey.


Major Job responsibilities would be as under:

  • Design and implement a robust L&D framework across all sales functions and levels, tailored to both organizational and individual capability needs.
  • Map skill sets in COE, Sales Planning, and Sales Management to build personalized development plans with clear training journeys.
  • Own end-to-end training execution—planning, delivery, content creation (in-house and with partners), and performance tracking.
  • Develop and run a structured training calendar, integrated with ongoing business and process rollouts.
  • Build strong assessment metrics to measure learning progress and drive accountability; link outcomes to BFL credits for adherence and penalties for lapses.
  • Collaborate closely with Business, Product, and HR to digitize the learning experience and integrate modules into LMS/e-learning platforms with modern learning tools and continuous adoption tracking.
  • Drive ROI-focused training to map with Ambak role specific KRAs and performance


Who is an ideal fit:

  • 5+ years of overall experience with a strong inclination toward learning, coaching, and capability building.
  • Must have prior exposure to Home Loan sales/operations, with a deep understanding of the ecosystem.
  • Strong communicator with sharp presentation and data analytics skills; able to convert insights into action.
  • Collaborative and agile team player with excellent interpersonal and people management abilities.
  • High ownership mindset: self-starter, quick learner, comfortable with travel, multitasking, and getting hands dirty to drive outcomes
