We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven General Manager to lead one of two North Carolina branches of Blue Valley Cabinets. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong sales experience and a track record of driving revenue growth, building high-performing teams, and overseeing day-to-day business operations. You will be responsible for managing sales performance, business development, customer relationships, and operational oversight—including warehouse and fulfillment—ensuring profitability and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Business Development (Primary Focus)
- Lead the sales strategy and execution to drive revenue growth across key segments: multifamily projects, dealers, remodelers, and contractors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Build, train, and motivate the sales team to exceed targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients.
- Oversee pricing strategy and customer proposals to ensure profitability.
- Analyze sales data, pipeline, and market trends to inform business strategy.
Operations Oversight
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Operations Manager to ensure seamless coordination between sales and fulfillment.
- Oversee inventory levels, customer delivery timelines, and quality control standards.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support logistics, procurement, and vendor management.
Team Leadership
- Lead, inspire, and manage a cross-functional team including sales, customer service, and warehouse personnel.
- Set performance goals and ensure accountability at all levels.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Customer Experience
- Ensure a best-in-class customer journey from initial inquiry through post-sale support.
- Quickly resolve customer issues and feedback to protect client relationships and reputation.
- Maintain a strong presence with key clients and projects.
Strategic Planning & Financial Management
- Develop short- and long-term business plans in alignment with company growth goals.
- Manage P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Report regularly to ownership on business performance, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years in a leadership role with a strong focus on B2B sales, preferably in building materials, home improvement, or distribution.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field preferred.
- Skills:
- Proven experience in managing both sales teams and operations.
- Deep understanding of sales strategy, pipelines, and CRM systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
- Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of the cabinet or construction supply industry.
- Experience in logistics, inventory, or warehouse management.
- ERP and CRM system fluency (NetSuite, Salesforce, etc.).
- Financial acumen and experience managing a P&L.
