We are partnering with a global industrial solutions manufacturer as client to assist their recruitment on a General Manager role. Reporting to the Group President, the role will manage P&L responsibilities and oversee the entire operation of the business unit (~800 staff) which focuses on production of robotic products.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement strategic plan for business unit according to the business objectives, product layout and market positioning
• Conduct analysis on market situation and competitors movement on robotic and automation sectors
• Manage product innovation, market development and production process to optimize resources and improve process efficiency accordingly
• Manage development of staff and enhance the collaboration between internal stakeholders and external business partners

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above with minimum 10 years' working experience (with at least 3 years heading an entire business unit)
• Excellent industry operation and knowledge on robotics and automation solutions (particularly robots) is compulsory
• Proven track record scaling P&L growth and managing sizeable robotic manufacturing operation (minimum 200-300+ staff)
• Hands-on with overseeing entire business operation from client facing, product design, production and product delivery
• Fluent communication, both written and spoken, in English
