Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee two locations in Berkeley and Larkspur with a staff of 40 employees. The ideal candidate is an experienced people manager with a heart for building thriving, empowered teams.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to drive to salon locations in Berkeley 94710 and Larkspur 94939.
• Must work full-time schedule Tuesday-Saturday.
• Oversee daily operations of two salon locations and a staff of 40 employees.
• Mentor and develop salon managers & staff to foster positive work environments.
• Manage all HR, including hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews.
• Manage inventory, payroll, HR, and brand standards for all locations.
• Fill in at front desk stations when needed and for support.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
• Engage with guests to gather feedback and enhance their salon experience.
• Execute local promotions, seasonal campaigns, and salon events.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in multi-unit management (spa, retail, or hospitality).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate teams.
• Understanding of HR best practices and team development principles.
• Experience with marketing and event coordination.
• Business-minded with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
