Tasks And Qualifications

Your Responsibility:

  • Design, implement, manage, and continuously improve specific financial processes and systems within their area of responsibility across the KION Organisation
  • Ensure group-wide harmonization, standardization and automation of processes based on applicable guidelines, as well as to verify and evaluate new business requirements and decision regarding the need for local process deviations
  • ensure control of a process through monitoring certain metrics (KPI) and implementation of countermeasures to reduce errors and to overall improve process quality towards a defined goal
  • first point of contact and sparring partner for the Process Owner and the KION companies regarding all topics related to Revenue Accounting and dedicated General Ledger topics and providing active advice on processes
  • support Business Transformation Project and act as project manager on various business and IT projects
  • provide support on relevant systems and platforms for Revenue Accounting and General Ledger

Your Skills And Expertise

  • 5+ years of professional experience in the core processes in General Ledger and Revenue Accounting
  • professional experience in SAP FI/CO, and ideally knowledge of other SAP modules and/or S/4 HANA functionalities
  • graduated (Bachelor, Master or similar) in Business / Finance with a focus on Accounting, professional certification in Accounting, or comparable qualification
  • ideally, project management skills, e.g. in SAP rollouts or in the implementation of SAP templates, and ideally, process management related experience or certification, e.g. Lean/Six Sigma Belt, BPMN, CBPP
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Adept at looking cross-functionally and weighing competing ideas and priorities
  • Maintain a high degree of creditability, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust
  • Willingness to travel (expect 25% in project or on-site support phase)
