Position Summary
GovTact is hiring for a General and Operations Manager – Journeyman with current SECRET clearance for Webster Outlying Field (WOLF), MD. This position will manage and support a high level program, with the Journeyman Operations Manager as point of contact for operations at the site for mission execution. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Plan, direct or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations
- Formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources
- Responsible for oversight to the company and subcontractor personnel and the successful performance and detailed technical management of the Contractor unit, directly supervising members of the team
- Ensure close coordination between all site leads and supervisors to minimize impacts on operations to include scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, operations, etc.
- Daily update of personnel trackers and scheduling
- Serves as the Program Manager’s right hand and the senior representative on site
Requirements Experience
- 3-10 years of recent and relevant experience within Navy and other DoD organizations in Systems Engineering Support. Of the years of experience required, at least one of those yearsmust include supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or Technical discipline
- Must have an active DoD Secret ClearanceDesired Requirements
- Hands on experience with military communications, intelligence or reconnaissance
