GenAI Engineering Lead/Architect 

Position type: Permanent
Duration: Fulltime
Location: Philadephia, PA (Onsite all 5 days)

As a GenAI Engineering Lead/Architect , you will:
  • Design and implement agentic AI systems that simulate human decision-making to resolve Pend codes in healthcare claims.
  • Build autonomous agents capable of:
  1. Interpreting Pend reasons
  2. Querying data from EHRs and payer systems
  3. Applying medical and coding rules
  4. Initiating provider or system follow-ups
  • Integrate LLMs (e.g., Vertex AI ) for natural language understanding, summarization, and contextual decision-making.
  • Utilize FHIR APIs, HL7, and RPA tools to interface with claims platforms, EHRs, and third-party systems.
  • Use Google Cloud Vertex AI to train, fine-tune, and serve custom models or integrate with Gemini models via Google AI Studio or APIs.
  • Implement intelligent decision trees and task decomposition using Dialogflow CX, AutoML, and Vertex AI Agents.
  • Develop and deploy feedback loops to improve agent performance using historical outcomes and supervision.
  • Collaborate with product managers, clinical SMEs, and engineering teams to align solutions with payer policies and
compliance requirements.
Candidate must have skills:
  • 5+ years experience in AI/ML development, with at least 1 year working on agent-based systems, LLMs, or autonomous decision frameworks.
  • Knowledge of healthcare claims lifecycle, Pend codes, and coding standards (ICD, CPT, HCPCS).
  • Experience with FHIR, HL7, or healthcare interoperability protocols.
  • Proficiency with Google Cloud AI stack: Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, BigQuery.
  • Hands-on experience deploying LLMs or using Gemini models through APIs or prompt engineering frameworks.
  • Experience with healthcare data standards: FHIR, HL7, X12 (claims).
  • Strong Python development skills, especially for AI pipelines, API integration, and automation scripting.
Required Skills:
  • Background in healthcare claims processing or medical coding (ICD, CPT, HCPCS).
  • Experience with Dialogflow CX, Vertex AI Agents, or AutoML Text/Entity Extraction.
  • Familiarity with LangChain or similar frameworks adapted for use with Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of payer workflows and compliance (e.g., medical necessity, authorization logic)
  • Experience in multi-agent system design or autonomous planning and scheduling.
  • Exposure to compliance standards (HIPAA, CMS regulations).
  • Experience deploying ML models into production within a regulated industry.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $ 135,500- 150,000 $ Per Year
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
