Role Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines for GCP environments.

• Integrate third-party APIs for data exchange and processing.
• Contribute to data architecture design discussions.
• Participate in data quality assessments and validations.
• Conduct performance tuning for data queries and pipelines.
• Document data processes and workflows for clarity.
• Train and mentor junior data team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform and associated tools.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java programming languages.
• Solid grasp of data modeling concepts and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for data-driven solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance and security practices.
