Job Overview

We are seeking a Game Economy Designer with experience in free-to-play titles to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Game Designers and Live Ops teams to design and manage the core game economy and monetization features of our upcoming project.

Reports to

Game Design Lead

What will you do?

• Design economic systems for version and event progressions.
• Regularly analyze and evaluate the state of the in-game economy.
• Develop mechanics to ensure the health of the economy and monetization strategies.
• Assist team members in understanding and leveraging economic systems.
• Provide support to other departments by incorporating economic insights into feature development.

What are we looking for?

• Strong understanding of economic systems in free-to-play games.
• Solid knowledge of mathematics, particularly in combinatorics and statistics.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
• At least 5+ years of experience as a game designer, with 2+ years specializing in game economy design.
• Proficient in written communication in English.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Proficiency in Python or other programming languages.
• Deep understanding of global free-to-play game models.
• Experience in UX/UI flow design.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Fluent verbal communication in English.
