Role: Game Developer

Location: Based in Parallax Gallery office, Vilnius

Salary: 3305 EUR onwards, based on experience

Nature of role: Full-time and onsite

Parallax Gallery is looking for a talented and experienced Game Developer to join our team as we develop cutting-edge interactive and immersive art experiences. This role reports directly to our Technical Director, collaborating closely with visual artists, animators, programmers and sound designers. You will bring your technical expertise to create a unique experience.

Reponsibilities

• Collaborate closely with environment artists, sound designers and technical team to implement immersive environments
• Manage asset preparation and optimising level performance
• Handle level lighting, procedural animations and event-driven interactions
• Set up nDisplay system and manage custom inputs for dynamic installation
• Connect external devices like cameras and speakers to Unreal Engine
• Programming of art installations

Requirements

• Proven experience in Unreal Engine, Blueprints, C++
• Proven experience working in video game workflows or similar projects
• Leadership skills and initiative

Good to Have

• Knowledge of C#, Java, Phyton, Cotlin, nginx
• Knowledge of setting up nDisplay
• Knowledge of Niagara
• Proficient in Unreal Engine lighting system
• Experience with Unity Engine
