LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Fund Controller to join our client in San Francisco, CA. This full-time direct hire opportunity offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

The Fund Controller will be responsible for managing and mentoring a small investment team, managing GL close procedures, monitoring liquidity of investment vehicles, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate will be highly organized with 8-10 years of experience and excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor small investment team
• Monitor liquidity of investment vehicles
• Support investment reporting and fund accounting
• Manage GL close procedures, including reviewing financial statements
• Maintain partner capital accounts
• Prepare financial reports
• Ensure compliance with REIT regulations
• Identify accounting and tax issues
• Maintain relationships with investors and other stakeholders
• Assist with process improvements and implement new technology

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 8-10 years of accounting experience required
• PE real estate experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Understanding of partnership/fund accounting concepts
• Exceptional organizational and communications skills
• CPA preferred

Salary: $200,000 to $240,000
