Summary
As a Functional Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our ongoing success by delivering quality and timely services during and after the implementation of our products to our customers for all project deployments. This position provides first-line support to our customers and provides the opportunity to learn new technologies and enterprise applications in delivering better service to our government customers. The position is based in Bougainville (PNG).
Main Responsibilities
Conducting level 2 support, warranty service and maintenance of ITMIS Application
Evaluate whether an incident should be worked, deferred, or escalated based on issue severity.
Monitor system performance and generate periodic performance/monitoring reports
Making resolution reports
Updating the documents including deliverables
Making software change logs
On-demand work
Liaising with different stakeholders and other counterparts
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
Display the ability to both lead and support
Should be results-oriented
Ability to relate complex ideas in a manner that may be comprehended by staff with little background in ICT and public financial management techniques
Possess the ability to work under pressure while managing several tasks
Candidates should be fluent in English
Provide feedback to Sales, Product Management, and Development on future product requirements based on interaction with clients
Develop new or modify existing custom solutions, including forms and reports
Willing to relocate and work in Bougainville, Papua New Guinea
Qualifications
A Bachelors degree or above in Accounting/ Business Management/ Finance.
3 to 5 years experience in finance (budgeting process, accounting, debt and payroll) with utilization of an IT Application System.
Qualifications in ICT will be an added advantage.
Experience working in the public financial management reform program and working with information management systems would be considered an asset
Must be able to write and speak English
