Responsibilities

  • Ensure project compliance with Functional Safety requirements
  • Support development teams in adhering to ISO 26262 standards
  • Analyze the impact of functional changes and develop appropriate safety concepts
  • Create and maintain project-level product safety plans
  • Review and revise safety-related documentation
  • Evaluate Functional Safety aspects in projects and assist with corrective actions
  • Serve as the central point of contact for Functional Safety topics within the project, both internally and externally
  • Collaborate closely with software leads, supervisors, and project management
  • Provide regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Participate in customer meetings, support prototype development, production activities, and SOP preparation

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience with safety-critical automotive embedded systems
  • Hands-on experience with industry standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE
  • Familiarity with automotive software development tools and methodologies
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills; ability to perform well under pressure
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Preferred: experience in ADAS, Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), or Body Computers development
