Functional Consultant – HighTech Industry
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers in the HighTech industry to understand their unique business models and operational challenges, driving value through ERP system implementations and optimizations.
- Lead the configuration and deployment of NetSuite modules, such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Subscription Billing, Advanced Revenue Management, and Project Accounting, aligning with customer needs.
- Analyze company operations to identify inefficiencies, process gaps, and system limitations, providing strategic recommendations for optimization.
- Proactively propose tailored solutions, leveraging best practices in revenue recognition, billing, and contract management specific to SaaS, hardware, and hybrid HighTech business models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical consultants, solution architects, and customer stakeholders, to ensure seamless ERP implementation and adoption.
- Facilitate customer onboarding by conducting training sessions, workshops, and knowledge transfer to key stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for automation, system integrations, and process enhancements, ensuring scalability and compliance with industry regulations.
- Drive alignment between customer objectives and NetSuite capabilities, achieving consensus on recommended solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in ERP system implementations and business process optimization, particularly in SaaS, or technology-driven business models.
- Strong knowledge of NetSuite modules or other ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, etc.), with expertise in finance, supply chain, or subscription models.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in business operations roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset for process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- A passion for customer success, long-term relationship building, and process improvement.
- 2-3 years of consulting, ERP implementation, or business process optimization experience in customer-facing roles.
