Job Title: Sr. Functional Consultant (NetSuite)

Job Summary:

The NetSuite functional consultant position is responsible for the delivery of the NetSuite application to

NetSuite clients and is a functional position. The consultant will work with clients to understand business

needs, craft a successful solution, develop the plan for delivery, and ensure project success.

Primary Responsibilities:

 Experience in translating a client’s business requirements into workable business solutions

 Develop configuration & customization specifications

 Provide functional consulting in setup, configuration, customizations, training and support

 Respond to client calls and provides immediate assistance for urgent requests

 Communicate on progress to internal and external stakeholders

 Communicate regularly with the project manager on the status of the work in progress

 Develop an action plan according to the customers' specifications and their roles

 Acquire knowledge of the market through communication with potential and current customers as

well as documentation

 Take a leadership role in growing the effectiveness of the project execution by knowledge

transfer, mentoring, and support of other team members.

 Work in a highly collaborative way with the Business Users, IT management and other team

members

Specific Responsibilities:

 Knowledge of business procedures (essential)

 Knowledge of an ERP application (Enterprise Resource Planning) CRM (Customer Relationship

Management) and ecommerce (an asset)

 Involvement in all phases of a project: analysis, design, development, conversion, installation,

training, support

 Experience with software in an SaaS environment including any experience with Accounting,

Sales Force Automation, Marketing Campaigns and Web presence

 Consulting experience with one of the following software: SalesForce.com, NetSuite, Oracle,

SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards.
