The Functional applications manager Source to Pay will oversee the administration and maintenance of finance systems, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. This role involves managing access, supporting incidents and operational needs, coordinating with third-party vendors, and maintaining master data. The functional application manager will also support change management processes and provide training within the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage processes for onboarding, changing, and revoking access to finance systems. Maintain authorization matrices and ensure compliance with local and security policies.
Coordinate centralized change requests and manage change processes, ensuring all changes impacting financial reporting are documented and prioritized appropriately.
Serve as a subject matter expert for process improvements within finance systems and translating them into business requirements to support technical enhancements.
Collaborate closely with the tech team to implement technical solutions that improve controllership, efficiency and user satisfaction.
Establish priorities, resolution timelines, and escalation paths for incidents. Ensure timely and effective resolution of issues, and align with office IT for appropriate incident flows.
Document, maintain, and periodically review SLA requirements. Ensure adherence to SLA terms and conduct periodic reviews for continuous improvement.
Oversee third-party tools and vendor support portals. Periodically assess business satisfaction and update the team on new releases or bug fixes.
Manage authorizations and segregation of duties within master data. Ensure processes align with business requirements.
Utilise ticketing tools (e.g., Topdesk, JIRA) to maintain an audit trail for requests, testing, and approvals. Capture SOC report reviews and follow-up on exceptions using LogicGate.
Conduct periodic awareness training within the finance team. Ensure team members are knowledgeable about policies, procedures, and new system updates.
Perform self-reviews to ensure compliance with policy requirements. Conduct periodic assessments to ensure effective incident resolution and adherence to functional administration policies.
Qualifications / Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience in finance systems - very beneficial if that includes Business Central, Tagetik and/or ProQuro
Strong understanding of access management, change management, and incident resolution.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to conduct training and awareness sessions.
Fluent in English, Dutch or French is a plus
Ideally familiarity with agile including tooling ie slack, Jira, Confluence
