We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented  Functional Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a solid foundation in economics, and practical knowledge of banking and insurance products. 

In the Prague´s office, we are collaboratively contributing to the development of a Multi-Tenant Warehouse, a project called Rainbow, which serves as a system for regulatory reporting of the whole KBC Group and its entities in 5 EU countries.

What to expect:

• Analyze datasets related to banking and insurance products, identifying trends and patterns that drive business decisions.
• Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements, understand business needs, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Work with SQL databases to query, manipulate, and manage data for analysis.
• Support in maintaining and updating existing databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and workflows.

Your skills & experience:

• At least bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field from an accredited university.
• Understanding of banking and insurance products, this is a must. 
• SQL skills. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Great communication skills and the ability to present data insights in a clear, concise manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Python, R, or other programming languages used in data analysis.
• Knowledge of data management and governance best practices.
