CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer FullStack for our client in Birmingham, AL. Location: Birmingham, AL (remote allowed) Duration: 7 months This candidate must possess proficient Spanish speaking, listening, and writing skills. They have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, including functional and regression testing, and hands-on experience with test automation tools, preferably for IVR and UI automation. They are also proficient in using JIRA for defect tracking and test management and have a good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Knowledge of the banking domain is preferred. Duties: Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, and automated test cases to ensure software quality across the full technology stack. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement testing strategies for IVR and UI-based applications. Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA, ensuring clear communication of testing outcomes. Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) efforts in a DevOps environment. Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts, with a focus on scalable and reusable components. Provide clear and concise documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results. Communicate fluently in Spanish to support bilingual team collaboration and testing in Spanish-speaking environments. Skills: Must have proficient speaking, listening, and writing skills in Spanish (Must) Strong understanding of QA methodologies: Functional, Regression, and other testing techniques Hands-on experience with test automation tools (preferably for IVR and UI automation) Hands-on knowledge of JIRA for defect tracking and test management Proficiency in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices Preferred: Knowledge of the banking domain Experience: Demonstrated experience in quality engineering roles supporting full-stack applications Experience in automation testing frameworks and Agile/DevOps environments Prior experience in banking or financial services is a plus Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
