Summary

The Fullstack Developer (Java + Angular) will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications with a strong focus on Angular for the frontend and Java for the backend. Based in Montreal, QC, this hybrid role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build real-time, low-latency applications, ensuring high performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Angular development, Java-based server-side applications, and database management.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development (Angular):

  • Build and maintain user interfaces using Angular 8/9, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
  • Develop and integrate REST services with the frontend.
  • Implement unit tests using Jasmine Karma to ensure code quality.
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies and Agile development processes.

Backend Development (Java)

  • Design and implement real-time, low-latency, multi-threaded server-side applications using Core Java (1.8 and above).
  • Work with Java concurrency packages, collections (HashMap, ArrayList), and sorting algorithms.
  • Build and maintain web services using J2EE, Spring framework, and related technologies.

Database Management

  • Design and optimize queries for Database Management Systems such as SQL Server, Sybase, or Oracle.
  • Ensure efficient data management and retrieval to support backend functionality.

Collaboration And Analysis

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in Agile methodologies, providing input on project timelines and deliverables.

Required Skills

Angular Skills:

  • Proficiency in Angular 8/9, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
  • Experience with RESTful services and Jasmine Karma unit testing.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

Java Skills

  • Expertise in Core Java (1.8 and above), including Executor framework, Generics, and concurrency packages.
  • Experience in multi-threaded server-side application development.
  • Knowledge of collections, HashMap, ArrayList, and sorting algorithms.
  • Familiarity with J2EE, Spring framework, and web services.

Database Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL Server, Sybase, or Oracle.
  • Strong understanding of database design and querying.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $36.06/hour - $56.34/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
