Job Title: AWS Solutions Architect With Python

Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid – Required Locals Only CA)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Solutions Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for our enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and cloud-native application development. This role requires a strong understanding of best practices for cloud security, automation, and optimization to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Design:

• Design highly available, scalable, and secure AWS architectures for enterprise applications.
• Develop and implement AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices.
• Architect multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions when necessary.
  
  

Infrastructure & Deployment

• Deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Optimize AWS networking components (VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, VPN, Direct Connect).
• Implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
  
  

Security & Compliance

• Ensure cloud solutions comply with AWS security best practices (IAM, KMS, AWS Shield, WAF, GuardDuty, etc.).
• Design and enforce governance, risk, and compliance policies (SOC2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, etc.).
  
  

Cost Optimization & Performance Tuning

• Optimize AWS costs using AWS Cost Explorer, Reserved Instances, and Auto-Scaling policies.
• Implement monitoring & logging solutions using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS X-Ray.
  
  

Collaboration & Advisory

• Work closely with DevOps, engineering, and business teams to align cloud strategies with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on AWS best practices and emerging trends.
• Conduct proof of concepts (PoCs) and technical workshops for stakeholders.
  
  

Automation & DevOps

• Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure management using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ Years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure design.
• Strong expertise in AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, etc.).
• Experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, identity management (IAM, Cognito), and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, Load Balancers).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate, ECS, EKS).
• Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
• Solid experience with monitoring & logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Datadog).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• AWS Certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional).
• Experience with AI/ML, data lakes, and analytics services on AWS.
• Understanding of multi-cloud strategies (Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures.
