A government agency's IT department is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer with expertise in .NET as the primary skill and Java as a secondary backup skill. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building secure, scalable applications in a Microsoft-centric environment, leveraging tools like Visual Studio, SSMS, Azure DevOps, and collaborating via Microsoft Teams. Familiarity with IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) for WebSphere and Eclipse IDE for Java applications is important.

This role is ideal for a proactive developer passionate about writing clean, efficient code, with solid SQL experience and strong problem-solving abilities. Local Detroit Metropolitan candidates are preferred for a hybrid work setup, but highly qualified remote candidates will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC, and Java/J2EE technologies.
• Deploy applications via Azure DevOps and manage backend with SQL Server.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams via MS Teams.
• Document architecture diagrams, data models, and technical specifications.
• Integrate eCommerce payment systems (a plus).
• Utilize Agile methodologies for project management.
