ArmMage is an e-commerce agency building high-performance online stores and mobile commerce solutions. We work with international brands on Shopify, Magento 2, Laravel, and React Native projects, combining 20 years of technical depth with data-driven growth strategies.

Role Description

Build & optimise Shopify storefronts, custom themes (Liquid/JSON), UI components, speed & Core Web Vitals, accessibility.

App integrations & back-end logic – Shopify Admin/API, webhooks, metafields, Script Editor/Functions, third-party services (payments, fulfilment, CRM, marketing).

Front-end engineering – ES6+, React/Vue or plain JavaScript, modern CSS (Tailwind/PostCSS/SCSS), sectioned architecture, dynamic cart/checkout UX.

Cross-team collaboration – work closely with designers, SEO specialists, and Magento engineers; help scope new features, estimate tasks, and ship on schedule.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 1+ year hands-on Shopify theme or app development (personal projects and freelancing count).
• Solid knowledge of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiar with Shopify REST & GraphQL APIs, storefront filters, metaobjects/metafields.
• Experience consuming JSON/REST services, handling async data, and writing clean, reusable code.
• Comfort with Git, pull requests, and basic command-line tooling.
• Ability to debug across the stack (browser DevTools, network calls, server logs).
• Clear written & spoken English; able to document decisions and explain trade-offs.

Nice-to-Have (Will Make You Stand Out)

• Magento 2 theme or extension work (PHTML, XML layout, Knockout/RequireJS).
• Solid PHP fundamentals (OO-PHP 8.x, Composer); Laravel/Symfony experience.
• Familiarity with headless commerce: Next.js, Remix, Hydrogen, or React Native.
• Understanding of SEO best practices, schema markup and performance budgets.
• Experience with cloud hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean, Vercel) and containerised workflows (Docker).
