Role: Full Stack Engineer

Type: Contract (6 months initial with potential for extension)

Location: Hybrid – up to 2 days in office in Toronto

Your New Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a front-to-back system with a focus on Bonds, Credit Derivatives, and IR Derivatives trading. You will propose and deliver sustainable solutions, contribute to the enhancement of the tech stack, and provide production support as needed.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Over 7 years of experience in supporting mission-critical applications.
• Proficiency in microservices architecture and applied design principles.
• Experience with Valuation Engines, Trade Store, or product-based applications.
• Strong skills in core Java and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred.
• Familiarity with Rust is a plus.
• Experience with MongoDB/PostgreSQL is preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them in an Agile environment.
