Job Description

Join our remote engineering team supporting a range of new and emerging client projects in diverse industries. You’ll focus on React-centric front-end work while comfortably navigating backend code when needed. Success in this role means delivering high-quality products, communicating clearly with clients and teammates, and managing your own time and priorities across multiple parallel projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain front-end applications with React and Next.js, translating UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible components.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs; read backend code (Node/Express or similar) to understand data flows and model requirements.
• Collaborate directly with client stakeholders, providing technical insight and regular progress updates.
• Contribute to code reviews, version-control workflows (Git), and lightweight CI/CD pipelines to keep deployments smooth.
• Coordinate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to scope features, estimate effort, and meet delivery timelines.
• Continually learn new tools and frameworks as project needs evolve, sharing knowledge with the team.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience building production web applications.
• Strong proficiency in React
• Hands-on experience with Next.js
• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts (you understand pipelines and can troubleshoot builds, even if you’re not the one authoring them).
• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases and ORMs
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and handling common auth patterns
• Comfortable reading backend code to unblock front-end tasks; basic Node.js preferred.
• Fluent English communication (written and spoken)
• Solid grasp of version control
• Proven track record of effective time and project management in multi-client environments.
