Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled Lead Full Stack Angular/Java Developer to work on a complex brownfield Platform Modernisation. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team in the development and implementation of software solutions, with a specific focus on a platform modernisation project. You will utilize your expertise in Java and Angular to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring alignment with client requirements and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development team in the design, implementation, and optimization of platform modernisation/conversion/migration solutions
• Ensure high standards of code quality and application design through code reviews and best practice methodologies
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Oversee the integration of front-end and back-end components to create seamless user experiences
• Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team

Essential Requirements:

• Significant experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on Angular
• Experience with platform modernisation/conversion/migration strategies and tools
• Familiarity with modern web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6+
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and development best practices
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and version control using Git
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• A genuine passion for technology and software development
• Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure
• Background in financial services or experience with market data management is preferred
