Senior Full-Stack Web Developer (Python/Vue.js)

A well-established systematic trading firm, operating across multiple locations, is currently seeking a Full-Stack Web Developer to join the development team in Paris. The opportunity involves designing, building and maintaining internal web-based platforms and development tools. Founded less than a decade old, this firm is now at the forefront of technological innovation within the systematic buy-side and continues to expand rapidly by hiring talented technologists.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with cross-functional teams around the globe to create, enhance, and maintain internal web applications and tools used by developers.
• Collaborate with backend, infrastructure, and DevOps engineers to develop scalable, high-performance systems in both cloud-based and on-premises environments.
• Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through to deployment and iterative improvement.
• Support the development of architectural standards and best practices across both frontend and backend systems.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in frontend development using Vue.js (experience with React is also valued, though Vue is preferred).
• Proficient in backend development with Python, particularly using FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of TypeScript and modern frontend development workflows.
• Practical experience implementing authentication and security mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT.
• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and familiar with contemporary deployment strategies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and administering on-prem infrastructure.
• Self-driven, with a high level of accountability and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
