My client in Manchester is looking for Full Stack Engineer

• A flexible hybrid role with the expectation of 1 day per week based in our Support Centre in Great Manchester as well as ad-hoc for training and on-site meetings.

• Supporting the business with a new system transformation project

Your future, your role

As a Full Stack Software Developer you’ll be:

• Collaborating with the existing development team to understand project requirements and contribute to the design and implementation of web-based applications and internal systems
• Utilising C# and Entity Framework to develop robust and scalable backend components for the website and internal applications
• Working on integrating and customizing a Content Management System (CMS) to manage website content efficiently
• Developing and maintaining APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different modules and external systems
• Collaborating with front-end developers to ensure effective integration of server-side logic with user-facing elements
• Writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices
• Participating in team discussions to identify and address technical challenges
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software defects and issues in a timely manner

You will have:

• Ideally a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a software developer with a focus on web application development
• Strong proficiency in C# and experience with Entity Framework for database interaction
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and the ability to customize and integrate them into web applications
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs for seamless communication between systems
• Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and version control
