Full Stack Engineer (LLMs)
London (Hybrid) – Minimum 3 days per week in-office
An ambitious, mission-driven AI company is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help build the next generation of intelligent automation tools for one of the most operationally complex sectors in the healthcare space. The platform is tackling unstructured data, manual workflows, and fragmented systems with the goal of delivering scalable, AI-driven infrastructure that directly impacts patient care.
This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and own end-to-end delivery of key features, including shipping LLM-powered workflows into production. The environment is lean and fast-paced, with high ownership, tight feedback loops, and a strong engineering-first culture. You’ll work directly with the founding team on technical decision-making and help shape the core product as it scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain production-grade systems across the stack (frontend, backend, database, cloud)
- Write performant, scalable code across a modern tech stack (C#, Python, SQL Server, Azure, Vue)
- Design AI-driven workflows, integrating LLMs into the product to automate complex real-world processes
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and users to refine features based on live feedback
- Own projects from inception to deployment, balancing speed, quality, and system reliability
- Apply best practices around security, observability, modularity, and test coverage
- Bring a builder’s mindset to a fast-changing environment; comfortable with ambiguity, iteration, and trade-offs
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong foundation in system design and full-stack development
- Strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical discipline
- Proficiency in C#, SQL Server, and experience working with Azure
- Working knowledge of Python and Vue, or the ability to ramp up quickly
- Demonstrated experience with relational data modelling, query optimisation, and backend performance tuning
- Proven ability to own backend services that have scaled in terms of data volume or traffic
- Production experience with LLMs, not just experimentation, but integration into core workflows
- Startup or greenfield project experience with high levels of autonomy and ownership
- Excellent problem-solving skills; structured, methodical, and business-value focused
- High-performing, low-ego, fast-moving, with deep technical ownership
