Role Description

We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer with a backend mindset to join our core team in Gurugram (hybrid). This is a full-time position with flexible remote days, but we prioritize collaboration and momentum — so presence in office a few times a week is expected.

In this role, you’ll:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend APIs (Node.js + Express + MongoDB)
• Own end-to-end features and collaborate with product + frontend engineers
• Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and help shape the system architecture
• Ensure clean, testable code and performance-optimized systems
• Contribute to a growing codebase with modern frontend tools like Next.js, TailwindCSS, shadcn, and React Query

What We're Looking For

We’re not looking for checkbox developers — we’re looking for engineers who:

• Own what they build and treat systems like products
• Can write clean backend code, optimize performance, and understand architecture tradeoffs
• Have strong fundamentals in JavaScript/Node.js, database design (MongoDB), and API development
• Are comfortable shipping fullstack — even if your strength is backend
• Are proficient with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS
• Can navigate modern frontend (Next.js, Tailwind, React Query) and care about DX/UI polish
• Communicate well, ask the right questions, and don’t wait to be told what to do
• Have 3–6 years of real-world experience building and maintaining production systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices or distributed systems
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
• Past startup or high-ownership environment experience
• System design skills and the ability to whiteboard solutions
