Akkodis is seeking a software engineer (full-stack Python developer) for a client in Dearborn, MI.

Rate Range: $52.00/hour to $60.00/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

This position is onsite 5 days per week alongside our engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience, and be a true full-stack Python software engineer and be able to demonstrate their coding knowledge during the interview both on the Python and Angular side.

Please note, we are not able to work on C2C at this time.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer, with at least 5 of those working with Python.
• Knowledge of Flask and/or Django frameworks.
• Experience building out RESTful APIs.
• Have a strong understanding of sound software engineering principles.
• Able to develop requirements from scratch to production.
• Must have experience with Angular and developing frontend components.
• Good knowledge on MongoDB and databases in general, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Good knowledge on DevOps principles and pushing and maintaining code (CI/CD).
• Able to write and execute own unit tests.

Education Required:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or similar technical discipline.
