We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join our tech team and help us build the future of e-commerce finance.

Franklin is a B2B fintech startup located in the heart of Copenhagen, delivering virtual payment cards built for the modern e-commerce business. Founded in 2023 by a team with great experience in fintech, marketing and e-commerce, and backed by world-class investors, our ambitions are sky-high.
Our vision is to become the leading financial platform for e-commerce leaders. With the Franklin card, e-commerce companies benefit from high spending limits and 0.5% cashback (with no cap) on software and marketing expenses. We’ve integrated with the full e-commerce stack, saving businesses time by automatically sending receipts from ad platforms directly to their accounting systems. Since going live in June 2024, we’ve onboarded a lot of e-commerce businesses that are actively using Franklin every single month.
Your Role At Franklin
As a core team member, you’ll work closely with the CTO and have the opportunity to shape our tech direction from the ground up. You will be involved in every step of the development, from stakeholder discussions, over implementation, to production release.

You will have real influence on everything we build from feature priorisation, optimal workflows, implementation, code styling and patterns and much more. You will be able to take responsibility for your work, see the real impact of your efforts and be challenged and grow with the team.

Your Role At Franklin
As a core team member, you’ll work closely with the CTO and have the opportunity to shape our tech direction from the ground up. You will be involved in every step of the development, from stakeholder discussions, over implementation, to production release.
In Your First Few Months, You’ll
- Build out our core platform.
- Develop other new features like payment proccessing flows, multi factor authentication, integration with new e-commerce platforms & internal tools.
- Fine-tune our solution as we gather customer feedback.
- Improve our backend infrastructure to ensure performance and scalability.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, React & NodeJS
- Proficiency in both frontend & backend development, especially API and database integrations.
- Experience with testing (unit, component and E2E). Playwright & Vitest experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with Git and agile development methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in either Danish or English.
- Bonus points (but no requirement) if you have experience building integrations with e-commerce, marketing, or accounting platforms. Or if you have worked with fintech or banking before.
