Role Description


This is a full-time hybrid role for a full stack developer located in Bewdley, Worcestershire with a salary of £35-45K. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining our platform for teachers, students and schools, and writing clean, efficient code with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. You will collaborate closely with other team members to deliver compelling educational content through interactive digital experiences.


We're looking for a versatile developer who is comfortable working across the stack. You'll be instrumental in developing new features, improving existing ones, and ensuring our platforms are robust and scalable.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimisation and functionality.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in TypeScript, Ideally, you will have worked with Node.JS and Vue.JS or similar frameworks
  • Experience with database systems (e.g., MySQL, Redis).
  • Experience building for Cloud based systems using AWS including RDS
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.



This role will be hybrid with 2 days minimum at our office in Bewdley, Worcestershire.
